Kalloni Towards 21st Century

In 1980 the need to expand the company’s facilities became too pressing to ignore. Thus work began for the construction of the company’s second factory at Kimmeria, near Xanthi, Greece, with the E.U. approval No 37 A 23. Work soon began on a third factory, its design and equipment remarkable for their modernity, even by European standards. The company’s three factories are built to the most rigorous European standards and their equipment is the very latest in food technology. The factory units cover a total surface area of 16.000 square meters. Automated production lines and machinery respond efficiently to the need for new products and larger quantities, while also contributing to lower costs. The fully equipped quality control section employs the internationally respected HACCP system. The Kalloni factories currently employ no fewer than 250 individuals.

Kalloni SA was the first company in its field which has been awarded the Quality Assurance Certificate EN ISO 9002.
